KWARA STATE POLYTECHNIC STUDENTS IN GRIEF AS THEY LOST COLLEAGUES IN A HORRIFIC ACCIDENT
3 KWARA STATE POLYTECHNIC STUDENTS WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN A GHASTLY MOTOR ACCIDENT ON THE 15TH OF MARCH 2018
This accident occurred yesterday, which was the 15th day of March 2018
The accident claimed the lives of 3 KWARA STATE POLYTECHNIC STUDENTS and a taxi driver along the UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN TEACHING HOSPITAL and OKE-OSE COMMUNITY
The accident which occurred as a result of a high speed of turn from other side of the road and the absence of speed bumps on the road which is recently been rehabilitated by the Federal government through the state government.
The Two female students involved in this accident was known as best friends from the DEPARTMENT OF MASS COMMUNICATION named RASHEEDAT AGBOMABINNI and SULIYAT YUSUF,
and also a male student whose details is yet to be ascertained was also involved.
With heart full of pains and worries the entire student community regrets to announce the death of 3 of our students from KWARA STATE POLYTECHNIC, ILORIN who lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident involving a truck and a taxi on their way back from school.
while we mourn the loss of our dear ones who were involved in the accident yesterday,we pray to God to grant the family of the deceased student the and the entire student community heart to bear this loss. We implore all students to be careful and observant of the environment so as to avoid possible occurrence,and also we urge all drivers plying that route to drive carefully.
We appeal to the State government under the leadership of his excellency Dr. Abdulfatai Ahmed for their swift intervention in the timely completion of these project so as to reduce the accident rate on that axis and likewise the deployment of traffic officials to control the situation pending the completion of the project.
